Just did a backup after deleting the old gallery and I’ve managed to get it down form 1.5gb to 45mb largely due to the fact that i’m no longer uploading full size images + gallery makes 3 files out of 1 image.

OMG just read my last entry which said I was off for a cup of tea damn i’m getting old ha.

Well after just finishing my new gallery I had one of those ‘I ROCK’ moments you know those times when you sit back and think damn i’m good (well I hope other people have those ha). After much css and php head banging i’ve managed to embed zenphoto with serendipity and get it how I want + I imported the old entries form Dribble.

Off for a well earned cup of tea now 😛

Putting the finishing touches on the new gallery and making a backup of the old one just in case so hopefully should be finished by tonight 🙂 oh and I found a backup of my old blog so I might import them into this one.

Well after a lot of twoing and frowing i’ve decided to ditch Gallery all together I managed to get it embedded into serendipity but it still didn’t look how I wanted (I know i’m a fussy git) plus it had loads of features which I just don’t need, so I decided to try zenphoto which I used to have on my home server it’s much more suited to my needs and not so many bells and whistles plus my favourite feature is that I can create albums using directories and then just ftp the images to it which I find more reliable than URL uploading.
