Found a run around car on ebay last night so called the seller up and made him an offer which he accepted. I told him i’d paypal a deposit to him and he said “as soon as I have that it’s yours” and I offered to pick up on Sunday. Was up to half 11 last night looking up insurance etc and was really quite chuffed. Got a missed call from the guy this morning so rang him back thinking ‘oh he just wants to arrange suitable time for collection’ INSTEAD he told me his wife had sold it!!!! annoyed is an understatement everyone moans about timewaster buyers on ebay and there’s me did everything I possibly could and he sold it.

Bloody pissed off!!!!

Got some more documentation on friday for a new job that i’ve applied for. Filled out the rest of the forms and gonna post off today so fingers crossed.

Gas

On wed engineers removed our gas meter for inspection of water damage. They gave us a poxy little electric fan heater which in all honesty wouldn’t heat up a cardboard box never mind a house but it was something I guess. On thur they reinstalled meter and tested and thankfully it and the boiler was ok so got heating back WOO HOO!. Also gonna get compensation at £30 per 24 hour period so that’s a bonus. Oh and they let us keep the heater ha.

Lost

Been watching series 3 and it’s very good only downside is that have to wait until Wednesday February 7 for Ep307 to give Sky One time to catch up RAHHHH!

Tried turning the heating on earlier and the boiler wouldn’t light. Just sitting here thinking maybe something wrong with gas when a guy knocks on the door ans says there’s been a burst main at the end of the road and they need to turn off my supply quick. These things only happen in winter don’t they!

What a bloody nightmare it is trying to deal shares. I brought some years ago in the last company I worked for. I got 500 at 2.5p each but now the company has jigged round so it works out at 50 at 25p each. Spoke to someone at stocktrade which is who i’d originally brought them through and they said I had to re-register as the account was so old then they told me about crest/nominee and certificated accounts WTF! all I want to do is sell some bloody shares, can it really be that hard????

Got the Serendipity theme preatty much how I want it now. Got rid of the date showing on every topic title, added the time entry was made and made it so all entries for a particular day only come under one date heading.

Gallery? well scrapped 2 and went back to 1 and much happier for it.

I’m liking the new template (just need to make some tweaks) however Gallery2 won’t intergrate very easily and to be honest I don’t like the skins that come with it, they’re all to ‘fussy’ sooo thinking I might just go back to Gallery1 as I had that how I wanted it so that’s my next job. Sure I posted on my old blog ‘stick with what you know’ :rolleyes

Changed the template which was easy but getting the banner to fit is a nightmare.

Well decided enough was enough and to give myself a kick up the arse and re-do theoutpost. I’ve installed latest version of Serendipity and Gallery2 so all need to do now is migrate pics from Gallery1 and get blog and gallery working happily together.
